Coaches' Role

  • Be a motivator at all times.

  • Be the mirror image for the club with your personal attitude and a representative of the Club and players.

  • Coaches must maintain a positive TEAM attitude at all times.

  • Proper conduct and language is expected of all Coaches both on and off the field. Poor Sportsmanship will not be tolerated.

Attention Coaches

  • All coaches and assistant coaches must be certified.

  • All coaches and assistant coaches must provide the Technical Director with a copy of their coaching certificates.

  • Only coaches, assistant coaches and managers are allowed on the bench.

  • A player may not be moved up without the approval of the Technical Director.

  • All trainers must be approved by the Technical Director.

  • No player is allowed to go to any camp without the authorization of the Technical Director or the Club.

  • No player shall move from one team to another without the approval of the Technical Director.

Coaches' Code of Conduct

Parents who volunteer to Coach in the Assyrian Athletic Club House League Program, are taking a major responsibility of educating and developing our young players. The club feels our players deserve a worthwhile soccer experience and enjoyable time.

  • Don’t put any pressure on your players, and help to keep your players focus on team participation.

  • Coaches will be approachable by Players and Parents and will encourage players to express their own comments.

  • Coaches must use proper conduct and language as that is expected of all Coaches both ON and OFF the FIELD.

  • Coaches will be prepared to explain their actions and decisions to players.

  • Coaches will treat players with respect and treat them with dignity.

  • Coaches will promote discipline and sporting behavior and be positive to both individuals and teams.
  • Coaches shall encourage and reinforce rather than criticize and shoe a negative behavior.

  • Coaches shall not use a coaching style that revolves around shouting and demeaning to the players.

  • Promote Discipline and Sporting Behavior. Poor Sportsmanship will not be tolerated.
  • Questioning refereeing decisions is a wrong and an improper conduct and will not be tolerate. The coach must conduct himself/herself in a respectful manner that does not set a negative example to the players.

  • Support the policy of the Technical Director and the Club.
  • Please remember that you are to be a role model before any other responsibility.
